I have discussed this with DirecTV. They say it is and SCAMMER will ask for Gift Cards to activate. They've gotten numerous calls and were clear, they would not refund any money.
Just for 'Giggles and Sh . . s', I called above number and another same SCAM from today. Lines are disconnected.
