I’m somewhat new to scam baiting and had my first call today. Only one thing I thought about was the fact that yes, scammers can do all kinds of things with your number like spoofing it for criminal stuff etc.
However, I’m using a VoIP phone system thingy and wanted to know if they are safe to use. As fair as I’m concerned they are because when I reverse look up my number it comes up as my provider if anything.
Can anyone prove me right or wrong please, it’s hard using with held IDs and fake numbers that you don’t even know what they are.
