Not sure what to make of this or if anybody else has come across this before. But searching for microsoft windows pop up scammers as I normally do I came across something NEW. The normal robot page things prove you are human click on the link. Well instead of that it said SCAN the QR code to prove you are HUMAN. I did grab a screen shot of this. So GUYS you know the drill DO NOT scan the link unless you have a qr scanner in your VM. This site acts just like a pop up but no clue what it is as of yet. If anyone else has run across this or has more info on it please get in touch.
I took a look at this QR Code, it seems to be redirecting to playcaptcha.me
A quick WHOIS search for this domain indicates that it was registered last month (On November 3, 2022) to be exact.
Also it seems like the Hosting Company is called “eNom, Inc” (https://enom.com)
The nameservers also indicate that the domain is on cloudflare. It seems like there is no Abuse Email for eNom as far as I can see
as long as it is not scammers doin this. Because this qr code had nik spooked
