207-307-2819 – I got this really chatty Indian woman. She never gave me her name or badge number (they don’t have one anyway). She did the blah blah blah. I told her I was 6 months pregnant. She acted all happy and cheerful and wanted to know when I was due. I told her and that it was twins and she was asking me boy or girl and if I had other children so we got into this discussion about kids. She was so cheerful it was disconcerting to know she was really a scammer! Even after I told her all this, she was so sorry she had to tell me that I was going to be arrested in 45 minutes and how hard that would be for me so I should pay up. I said So I am very confused. My husband is going to arrest me? She said WAT? I said my husband is a Deputy Sheriff. She said Yes he was going to arrest me. This after over 5 minutes of chatty pregnant woman talk and her telling me about her kids. Really surreal, to say the least. She insisted I was going to be arrested and she knew it was me by my phone number that was on my tax form. I don’t put my phone number on my tax form! I said, Well, Ma’am I will just wait for him to come to arrest me but at least he won’t go hungry because dinner is almost ready. It is his favorite, Chicken Catcatorie. Can you suggest something for dessert that goes with handcuffing your wife? She said WAT? I think she got her needle got stuck in a groove. I said, Come on now. You should not be doing this to people. Can’t you get a real job and not call pregnant women and threaten them? Do you not know you are using a Maine phone number? Have you no skills that you can use to make an honest living? She tried to argue with me that she was the real IRS. I said Please, I don’t want to be mean to you but I know you are not the real IRS. The real IRS sends letters. When they audit they have you come to the office and give you a chance to argue your case. They don’t want you in jail because they want the money owed and they give you a payment plan. I know that you are acting all friendly to try and make me feel like you care but I know you just want to scare me into paying you. My husband is a police officer (not, but I used to be) and he would know if there was an arrest warrant for me. I said You are not in Washington, you are not even in Maine. You are in India. She said WHO TOLD YOU KNOW I AM INDIAN. I said Are you kidding? I can tell by your accent and by the way you talk. She tried to send me to her Supervisor. I said It is over, just give it up. Have a nice rest of the night. Bye. I have never encountered a woman scammer like this before. She was really playing it.
Wow! She is digusting. I hope karma gets her, ironic because she scams
