Gee, Shreveport, Lousiana is where the number is based. That’s the first city I think of when the IRS comes to mind.
The girl that answered said that they did not call me. I said "Well then who left a message with this number?" She said she did not know. I then added "Do you think I spend all day on websites looking for IRS numbers to call?" She said "Probably" and hung up. Wish I would have recorded that one!

Thank you for the number. Kept them on the phone for over 30 mins and wasted their time. When I “got to the bank”, he told me the amount went from $6790 to $9000 and then it went to $12000. Told him I didn’t have that much money and he insisted and wanted to talk to the bank teller…this went on and on and finally he hung up.
