Unfortunately this text came to someone I know- 10 days ago. She handed over thousands of dollars to these scumbags and even bought gold bars etc. But bank got suspicious when the gold store requested a bank transfer and stopped the payment to him. She handed over the gold to the scammer too…and gold store is threatening to sue her. It’s a big mess. She has a lawyer helping her.
