Additional information about this scam: I received this text today.
“An Apple Pay charge of USD 499.99 at the Store was detected. If you didn’t made this transaction, Call Apple Support now at +1 803 274 3595 Ref Num- LFV78TG”
He was sure to ask me if I had enough money for him to steal.
scammer Sean says I got charged twice one for the fake notification and another charge for apple gift cards. The scammers said someone from Cali made this charge lol.
Then he told me to open a new tab and then hung up. Going to call back.
