We need to have uniform way of posting numbers. I did a search and found nothing before posting. I don’t like wasting my time with duplicate posts.
Many people have been saying this.
I doubt it would be possible to convince or compel hundreds of posters to stick to one format, especially since new people join every day.
I wonder if it’s possible to add a column to the database of posts, and an entry field on the form that normalizes input into a standard format, which could then be searched?
I always use the same format when I reply to a post, so if you want to go off that it might be easier. I get the frustration, I used to have the same problems. But what can you do.
