For the first time I am calling this number. A guy answered as Suppoat. It sounded like he said his name is Jake, but when I called him Jake he corrected me and said his name is James. I played along for a few minutes and then mocked, ridiculed, and insulted him.
I’ll continue from other 'phone numbers of mine to harass this criminal, @Tillianne!

Yes , I have noticed recently that a Cell 'Phone number is used according to phonevalidator.com YET different people are answering it. I even have called from my home VOIP 'phone number AFTER logging into my account and switching it to show only UNKNOWN NUMBER and not show my real VOIP number, while in my other hand I use TextMe or Text Free or TextNow on my cell 'phone and I get two different people on each call.
I am pasting in the following from the internet after I used Google to search “can a cell phone number be used for a call center” and here are the results:
Yes, a cell phone number can be used for a call center, especially with the rise of virtual call centers and VoIP technology, allowing agents to use their smartphones or computers for calls.
Here’s a more detailed explanation:
- Virtual Call Centers and VoIP:
Modern call centers increasingly rely on virtual call centers and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, which allows agents to handle calls from anywhere with an internet connection using their smartphones or computers.
- Mobile Call Center Apps:
Many call center software providers offer mobile apps, enabling agents to stay connected with customers and prospects on the go.
- Separate Business Line:
While possible to use a personal cell phone number, having a separate business line or number is recommended to keep personal and professional calls separate and to maintain a professional image.
- VoIP Services:
Services like RingCentral, OpenPhone, and others provide virtual phone numbers that can be used with your cell phone or computer, offering features like call forwarding, voicemail, and caller ID.
-
Benefits of using a cell phone for a call center:
- Flexibility and Mobility: Agents can work from anywhere, increasing flexibility and reducing the need for traditional office spaces.
- Cost Savings: Eliminating the need for traditional phone systems can lead to significant cost savings.
- Scalability: Virtual call centers can easily scale up or down as needed.
- Improved Customer Experience: Agents can provide better customer service by staying connected with customers on the go.
