Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, “Edward” asked me to fill out a “Apple Support Cancellation & Refund Form,” which requires me to have a Google account.
- However, since I refuse to sign up for a Google account for the purposes of a mere scambait, “Edward” instead opened up the Command Prompt and used that as a “cancellation form”
- I was then asked to log into my nonexistent bank account. However, since I don’t do online banking, I was repeatedly asked to “enroll” before then being asked if I use a smartphone.
- “Edward” then blanked my screen with a fake software update before attempting to view my webcam to no avail, then asking me to “process the refund” via Notepad, then bringing up the same refund form that required me to register for a Google account
- The chod then accused me of “not following the procedure” and told me to fuck off
