Yeah, the REAL phone number for AOL technical support is (800) 827-6364 according to my Google search just now.
I am surprised that criminals would use an “AOL SCAM” since AOL is rather old and outdated nowadays!
Greedy criminals will try anything I guess.
Just now I called from my TextNow number but there was an automated British-sounding female voice that said the (805) 892-8071 number cannot be reached from my calling area.
My TextNow number has a southern California area code in case that is what is meant by my calling area not being able to reach their phone number.
