I think these guys know my voice from a few weeks ago.
I found them from a cold call number listed somewhere on the forum. One of the morons gave me this number during the call before I pissed him off.
I waited a few weeks to try them, but they may recognize me, as they had little interest in helping me, and told me to handle it myself.
The problem I described to them was that of ransomware, he told me to run a scan and deal with it myself. Sounds like some great fucking professionals wanting to make money....right? They wouldn't remote in unless I registered first.
In my personal opinion they probably deal with popups and/or cold call messages all day long and hardly get calls on this number.
Anyway, could someone else take over exposing them. I don't want to throw their number out on BobRTC without some kind of proof.
Their listed address is some residential house in Texas.
They tend to not answer late in the afternoon.
@Starwin#105082 I had a good hour long call with them… And i can not confirm that this is a scam number… I told them that I had some kind of ransomware on my computer that said that I had to call them and they told me to power on and off my computer and that would help it go away and they did not ask for money or card or Social Security nothing like that so I cannot confirm that this is a scam call.
@jordanl_22893#105102 . When I told them I had ransomware, it was a just a fake program. I told them I found their website to get some help and they said the same thing to me. “Restart it and it will be fine.” They asked if I had an antivirus, and I said Comodo. I could have lied but they would have seen it on my VM anyway. I even use Comodo’s containment feature as a means of disabling msinfo32 and dxdiag. When you try to use msinforo32 the window comes up but says the information can’t be collected instead of giving it an error. Dxdiag does come up as an error though. Then I use Comodo Killswitch to disable the VBtray icon without breaking guest additions.
They were like, "Just run a full scan and remove it."
I then said that it didn't detect it, and they said they wouldn't help unless I registered first.
I do have the original video of the live stream where the cold caller gave me their website number right before I pissed him off. He hung up and disconnected as soon as told him I was recording him. I'll try and edit it and make a Youtube video of it when I get the chance.
