Does anyone have any UK (+44) scam numbers? I’d prefer screenshots of emails, text messages, popups, etc. So I know what I’m working with.
Potentially (but they are a day old):
+44-1244940973 - this Skype number claims to be Microsoft support. I presume from a tech support popup.
Thanks, none of the numbers are currently active at the minute (14:00 BST), I’ll try them later on
I’ll try the 01244… later. I also saw your thread on the Amazon number with the callback number they’re using. It just seems to be another number for a Norton Scam. I tried not to aggravate them too much because I’m aware that you guys are working on getting a mule for that one but I had some fun with them as well.
Got one this morning. Saying my life insurance details needed checked as Aviva weren’t paying out claims.
I dont have life insurance but i wasted about 10-15mins of their time. Was passed onto 3 different ppl within minutes.
thanks, will call that tomorrow
Same Amazon scammers new number: Amazon Prime Activation invoice | +441274792026
Another number for same life insurance scam.
0118 230 3914
Both Life insurance scam numbers still answering, I think they’re both the same call centre. (01182303914 and 01146972368).
An Indian call centre opens the call before passing you on to a UK scam call centre who make it sound more legit and I believe they just steal your information. I can’t get past the stage where they ask me to confirm my Life Insurance information.
I also got an Extension number for “Laura” from the UK call centre (01792213050).
This is a very long-winded scam that involves the scammers spewing a lot of mumbo-jumbo that doesn’t make any sense.
Time wasted so far ≈ 3 hours.
I’m getting more than the normal amount of scam calls, mostly they hang up as soon as i answer. But will post you screenshots of the ones i can talk to and get some info.
The passing onto a UK call handler is a bit worrying, as some ppl will think its more legit.
Yeah, the UK guys are very professional as well and will not admit or give any indication that they’re not legit. Thanks for these numbers, me and my associate have had some great fun messing with them.
Had a short & sweet scam call yesterday and its now been followed up by a UK caller/call centre.
1st call was asking for info if i had a mortgage, life insurance (Aviva) and what model my washing machine was then hung up.
2nd call today was from a UK caller saying there were savings to be had on my mortgage. I questioned if it had to do with yesterday’s call and she hung up. I gave them false details as the norm
Nice, I’ll have a look at those.
