Antivirus scam + Tech support scam

Scam Number: +1 (808) 207-3783
Scammer’s Website or Email: Get a System Scan Today 2 | iolo

I called the number and the woman on the phone with me tried hard to convince me to pay $253.99 for their antivirus software.

Funnily enough, the email links to another site, www.ustechsupport.com, which is a tech support scam site.

They have also made their company look legitimate on Google’s search results

The site also warns about scams at the top of the site to appear more legitimate.

Also, when you try and read their reviews, you get a popup that 404s.

They have a crapload of active numbers under all their different fake software (scareware) and other useless tech support nonsense

They used to have a half a dozen consecutive numbers in the 877 toll free prefix, but someone called them a few hundred thousand times quite a while ago now (I wonder who that could have been :thinking:) and they’re now all dead

They have since added another new number in the 626 area code on their RealDefense website entity/identity which all the 877 toll free numbers related to

My search dialers located about 8 more numbers for US tech support and all their fake software (scareware) crap in a completely different area code to the others they already have.
They have now have 75 active numbers with all their bullshit on them.

I’ll try to remember to list all the new ones up at the end of the day today
