I always just started off with “yeah I was just talking with XXX about getting my refund and I think we got disconnected.”
“He’s busy”
“Can you check again?”
“How about you go and fuck yourself.”
Then I’d call back and if I got that same guy I’d say “sorry I think we got disconnected I believe you were going to transfer me to XXX?”
