Another number, but also with some news

The number is 1-877-846-6459,

Via phone or via IP?

What kind of scam is this?

OP, are you using something like TextNow or BobRTC? Are you using a VPN? Are you providing them with access to your computer?

I run everything through a VPN and use TextNow and BobRTC. The CallerID is randomly generated and changes every call. IP address is masked by my VPN and would be difficult to track anyway.

Sounds like you are using your own mobile device or landline to make outgoing calls which is not recommended.

I think you should provide more information than that very vague post. That number might be a spoof, since it seems to belong to Bandura Solutions (http://bandurallc.com) which is a Menu designer company.

FADI’S MEYERLAND REBRAND by Bandura Solutions LLC in Sienna, TX - Alignable

Their website itself is a mess, but that doesn't make them scammers. Its possible they are no longer in business and someone else has the number though.

The other similarly named companies do not appear to have any connection to each other.
Bandura Cyber, Inc (https://banduracyber.com) (http://www.bandurasystems.com) Is a Threat Intelligence Gateway (TIG) software developer for Cybersecurity.

Bandura Plus (https://www.banduraplus.com) is a Social Learning strategy organisation for workplace environments.

@MKHNT#106711 Ok, so I was searching for numbers like the noob scambaiter I am, found a number. Apple tech support, said “Hi, i’m from windows tech support”, then said some forgotten words, then hang up. Going good, but then called back 5 mins later and said “Hello, is this [first name of apple ID]?”, instantly I hang up. Wat do?

@saample#106697 phone

@Kaeseluchs#106698 It’s tech support. I’m a noob, and don’t use textapp or bobrtc, because there isn’t a computer nearby, and it found out my apple id. It is only the beginning!

@1888TechLineOfficial#106717 When I first called, I had to use my real phone, now i’m using TextApp…

@1888TechLineOfficial#106722 I already blocked the number on real phone, and is everything good now? Computer i’m using doesn’t have microphone jack.

Oh. Great. My week is ruined, and I can’t do anything about it…

@Rocko1993#106724

use the internal sound of your pc as input for your microphone (also works if you have no microphone)

Called them and the guy told me, after i gave him my fake apple id and other fake info, that somebody from mexico is connected to my account and that somebody is uploading child porn from my apple account to an asian server (they said it could be me and if it was me then theyre gonna have to take legal action or some shit), was then told to get them a 100$ card which they would later refund then just kept wasting their time for 2 hours
