These asshats have been calling quite a lot lately, always with the same pitch:
Live caller asks basic questions, who then transfers to another person w/heavy accent. If the right buttons are pushed it then transfers to the US parties behind this operation.
Today’s call came in showing 6784017051 on my caller ID log. The US link transferred to someone named Jordan Belford with a Twilio VOIP messaging service callback number of 3462360334, who claimed to be the policy writer. I could not find anyone with that name as holding an insurance license. The closest was a Jordan Bedford (not Belford) of Boerne TX, so may not be the same person.
I gave him a burner email address to send info to but have not received anything yet. Also - all the info I provided to him was all made up… except for the bank account and routing numbers - which was actually old account info from when the CIA was funneling money.
Back to Jordan: after I fed him all the BS he then said I would be contacted by the insurance agent Hector Brown. The only Hector Brown I see holding a license works for Primerica Life Insurance Company. Hector Brown never called me back, at least not yet.
Interesting tidbit about primerica.com - besides selling insurance they also do Vivint wireless home security, which is another problem child on my telemarketing headaches.
Here’s the recording. All the personal info is not mine and most was simply made up. The name and address is one that belongs to the telemarketer I found was tied to the Adrian Velo calls, the bank info was actually for the Castle Bank and Trust out of the Bahamas. They are closed but it was one of the accounts used by the CIA in funding certain operations. I’m curious what will happen when these crooks in Pakistan try running the account number. I did edit out the account number on the recording,
The number listed that Jordan gave has been shut down by Twilio - it took a few complaints but they finally disabled it.
The rest of the info on here I just pulled out of the air to feed this shitheads that keep calling.
Today is 12/21: No one called back as far as the “policy” they promised, no email was received either. Today I did receive a IVR robocall for a Vivint wireless alarm system tho. He hung up when I said my name was Ryan Neill - who was the guy I busted on prior illegal telemarketing cold calls using IVRs and spoofed numbers, connected to the Smart Home Security/Core Home Security cold calls.
This is my specialty, I bait these callers with fake information and see where the calls. You can find dozens of examples on my YouTube channel Take the Call
These calls all go to independent agents like Cooper DeLoach and brokerages such as DreamWealth Financial, Final Expense Direct, H.O.P.E. Insurance, Impact Insurance, Insurance Supermarket (particularly nasty buggers), Real Innovation Life Inc., and US Funeral Expenses. I’ve also been gotten several agents from US Final Expense lately. I can never determine if the agency / brokerage provides the leads or the agent themselves buys them, though often it’s a truly independent agent who’s trying to sell insurance and buys leads. In my experience, every agent I’ve spoken to does not give the slightest shit that unsolicited DNC violating cold calls are how they’re getting their leads.
Tomorrow I’m publishing a video on Trey Woodrich, a particularly brazen life insurance salesman who fully owned up to using these call centers. He said he really doesn’t care that that’s how he gets his leads because he’s “helping people,” and that those who file TCPA litigation are “scumbags.” I love exposing these people. It really is the best way to fight back; waste a ton of their time, waste their money (they pay per lead, in some cases as much as $30), and expose them online. Of course it’s a huge time sink because these calls take forever and for every one success I have several failures, but I love the satisfaction of one of these rats spending an hour with me writing up a policy, thinking they’re going to get a fat commission, only to have nothing to show for it.
