An annoying pop-up keeps appearing on my computer every time I boot it up, or restart it.
It appears to be for this annoying Browser WatchDog extension that is starting tomorrow.
Anyone else getting this?

Sounds like you either downloaded some adware sponsoring it or you have a PUP and it is included in the root urls. Either way I would run Malwarebytes and avoid using that extension.
Sounds like this the extension:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/browser-watchdog/jjnfhbcilcppomkcmkbbmcadoihkkgah
https://browserdog.com
If it is the only thing that ever displays, I would screen shot it and report it to Google Chrome Store for abuse:

Next I would start looking over my downloads to see if there are any trial apps around the same time it began displaying and maybe find the adware. Look at your Task Manager/Startup files to see if any new apps are in there to run on startups.
Hi @ScamDebunker2156#130314,
I am one of the developers of Browser WatchDog!
From the bottom of my heart I am very sorry you’ve had a bad experience.
The purpose of Browser WatchDog is to scan and remove any malicious extensions and addons you have on your browser. Here is a demo of how the scan looks like in action: https://imgur.com/a/xu8lK69
Browser WatchDog will never create any ads or pop-ups! On the contrary - it removes annoying and ad-injecting extensions. If you've seen an ad for Browser WatchDog - it is certainty would not be from the extension.
Regardless, we've sent an urgent email to our affiliates clarifying our guidelines so we only advertise through proper channels (social media etc..)
Thank you and sorry again for any bad experience.
Otis
It isn’t appearing anymore. I must have had adware installed on my PC.
