This is not a topic that is talked about too much on here, and I don’t know how much crossover there is between the mostly phone baiting on here and social media baiting. I had the chance to take over a Facebook sales group that had gone moderator free for a long time and been basically overrun by scammers. I am using a fake concert ticket sales group as the example here, this one is a little different in that it was actually created by scammers and is filled with scammers and bots.
Say any kind of event and you will get 50 responses saying they have tickets.
All with the same generic stock photos of people, and often with an unchanged profile photo from prior that shows the real them, or a prior profile name visible as seen with this one that used to be listed with its real name, Bolanle Ayomide of Lagos, Nigeria.

Generally the more social ones, like the fake missing people posts that turn into cheap apartment rental posts, the fake concert tickets, fake “I can’t see the number you can win free Aldi and Coca Cola Giveaway!” and the fake food giveaways are Nigerian. The Air Duct Cleaning scams are usually Bangladesh and Pakistan. The “CHECK THIS CRAZY FUNNY VIDEO” ones are typically from Bangladesh.
You report these groups and posts to Facebook and you get nothing. I have battled with these scammers on Facebook, what are some effective things that some of you or other people have done with Facebook baiting?
