It’s time I share everything that I know about a scammer that I’ve been tracking for months.
His name is Prophet Manasseh Jordan.
He was a resident of New York City, but he now lives in Miami-Dade county down in Florida. His father is also a pastor. That is where he got the idea of becoming what is known in the business as a "prosperity pastor". Basically this shit mixes financial life-coach with the Bible. The most famous one of these is Pastor Joel Osteen of Houston.
Unlike any prosperity pastor, Prophet Manasseh gets his money from the telephone.
He robodials a lot of people. And by a lot, I mean a lot.

When I say a lot, I mean a whole fuckton of "a lot". He has been sued in Federal court over TWENTY SEVEN TIMES. He has been sued so much I can't even fit it all on one screen:

But that's not all.
The FCC has nabbed him not once, but twice.

Now, you might be thinking... "he's a church non-profit. Aren't they exempt from robocalling rules?"
The straight answer is no. Yes, they are allowed to robocall LAND LINES. But they are still restricted in robodialing the crap out of cell phones:
So what does the TCPA cover? The TCPA provides in relevant part that “t
shall be unlawful for any person...to make any call...using any automatic
telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice...to any
telephone number assigned to a... cellular telephone service.” This
includes all robocalls/robotexts to a cell phone, even non-telemarketing
calls made by a charitable organization or other nonprofit for political
or issue advocacy. However, the TCPA permits robocalls/robotexts
to cell phones if they are “made with the prior express consent of the
called party.”
See this guidebook that's given to non-profits who are setting up dial shops: https://bolderadvocacy.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/AFJ_Rules-of-Robo_web2-1.pdf

Without going into how I know this... I have been monitoring Prophet Manasseh's targeting. Manasseh likes to hit urban areas particularly hard. Generally older+poor white people and older black people are a target-rich environment for Prophet Manasseh.

(Sorry ladies, Manasseh Jordan is a gay homosexual)
Manasseh has led many victims to open their wallets. Manasseh used to have two strategies but now he sticks to just one. The first strategy is the automated message for white people. This is from the "Hope and Prayer Ministry calling to see if you need urgent prayer". The other is a recording of Prophet Manasseh giving what's called a "lead-in". Since he's not doing the Hope and Prayer Ministry bullshit anymore I'll go into the current call campaigns he does.
When Manasseh Jordan sends you a robocall it's usually going to be from a spoofed CID. But many times Manasseh fucks up and sends a call with a real working DID on it. If you ever get a Manasseh Jordan robocall it's always a good idea to dial it back and see if you hear the Prophet.
Manasseh uses the same formula every time. The first part of his pitch is what's called the "lead-in". He repeats some common ailment that nearly all humans have, trying to entice you to listen further to see how he's going to address it. Manasseh will tell you to "PRESS THE NUMERICAL BUTTON 1 NOW". Here's a classic example of his lead-in pitch: https://www.nomorobo.com/lookup/510-269-2946
Why doesn't Manasseh Jordan just do a full recorded pitch right off the bat? It's because he's sending millions of robocalls a year. Most of these get killed by call blockers or they wind up in voicemail, and it costs far more than the 3 houses that Jordan has to make 5 minute calls repeatedly to all the numbers he's hitting. A 20 second message is far more affordable.
Manasseh Jordan's dialer guy has also been working around the clock to get around the RoboKiller and Nomorobo honeypots. On top of that his dialer guy has discovered BobRTC's honeypot---since he's been trying to deal with our Lenny bot which I keep reprogramming to press the numerical button 1, 2 and 5 that the recording asks you to push. This trips up Manasseh's dialer to play the full 5 minute sermon and cost him more money.
