It started yearss ago and my first introduction to scambaiting. It was actually a popular prank calling youtube page, he didn’t usually do scammers but started to expose them during the IRS scam craze. I’ve been an avid consumer of scambaiting content since as it has blossomed into this big fight against all their various scams.
But I havent heard of an IRS scam in years. If I remember correctly they initiated contact by cold-calling or email. Do any of you still get these?
