This number has been active for a while
I was calling them for a while overnight as well when they did some overtime scamming
I’m on with “my bank officer” now
Isn’t it weird that the people at Amazon, the people at my bank, and the guy they connected to me from the Federal trade Commission will have Indian accents. ![]()
Now you know we’ve outsourced many of our jobs overseas, IRS, Social Security, and on it goes…
Amazon, PayPal, Norton, Geek Squad, apple pay, Microsoft, Robinhood, Facebook…
This is once again Ring Central “Scam Central” scum!

I have an idea! I think multiple folks here should inform Amazon about the ONGOING issue with Ring Central turning a blind eye to illegal activities, notably impersonation of Amazon. There is a possibility that Amazon will force them to be more accountable! I know that Amazon Legal does not play as it comes to people messing with their brand.

I think that something along these lines could be used:
Dear Amazon Executive and Legal Team,
I am writing to report an ongoing issue involving fraudulent activity that targets Amazon customers. The phone number (866) 270-4336 has been used repeatedly to impersonate Amazon’s Customer Service and Fraud Team. This number is currently active on the RingCentral network and has been a source of ongoing scams, misleading customers into believing they are interacting with legitimate Amazon representatives.
Over the past several months, I have reached out to RingCentral to report these incidents and request that they take action against this fraudulent behavior. Unfortunately, my efforts have been ignored, and the number remains in use. For reference, you can view a related discussion on the website ScammerInfo, which outlines similar concerns and the role RingCentral plays in this issue: ScammerInfo Thread.
I am simply bringing this matter to your attention in hopes that Amazon can take further action, as this ongoing fraudulent use of your name is concerning and potentially harming your customers.
Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I hope this information is helpful in resolving the matter.
Best regards,
Your Name
Good idea! I’ll do that now!
Thank you!
I used to love making up bullshit variations of actual laws to tell them they could possibly be in breach of when the hackers are likely to be any one of the tellers in the local branch.
Garbage like saying they’re in violation of banking and financial institution regulation 42 U.S.C. § 1983, for allowing bank employees to fraudulently access the bank account of private citizen, while in the pursuit of life, liberty and freshly squeezed orange juice on a Tuesday. ![]()
(It’s actually civil litigation for deprivation of rights under color of law).
They often go into long winded rants to reassure you the bank tellers will be prosecuted for these fictitious felonies.
If I get a response, I’ll report back.
It is only a matter of time before the Big Corporate America clashes with scummy little people like Commio, Ring Central, Telnyx, Peerless and few others. I’d love to see them all in court!
Awesome! I too emailed them. I am encouraging everyone to point out the obvious and ongoing trend with Ring Central.
By the way, here is some interesting info on Telnyx degenerates, whom I passionately hate and despise!
FCC Proposes $4.5 Million Fine Against Telnyx LLC for Alleged Robocall Violations - Lexology
This Chod wanted my SS number and the amount in my FAKE bank.
Bravo with a standing ovation @OfclyGoodenough
