Amazon support scammers (510) 295-4937

they called me earlier, i couldnt reply so i called them back, they claimed to be amazon support and that someone tried logging on my amazon account and charge 15000$. They wanted to connect to my computer for help. My phone number isnt linked to my amazon lmao (510) 295-4937

Picks up and drops, sounds like a manual hangup

Works, they say others are trying to get in your amazon account, and then they will tell you they need remote access to your computer

I might step out and classify this one as partially a tech support scam?? How long do you think the number is gonna be active? I’m headed to bed now, but if its active tomorrow i might have to hit ‘em up. By the way @wirushunter#60371 i like ur username lol.

Rings and goes to silence

Yep thats a dead one

Amazon scammers (Australian version) just called my friend and conned him into letting them into his computer and then scammered out of $$$$ by tricking him into logging into his bank account while they were still connected. The call starts by calling my friend and saying theres a suspicious charge ($399) to his account for a phone and when my freind said he did not purchase it they wanted to get access to his computer, gave instructions to download and install teamviewer, then i guess the rest is the same as most remote access scams. Used netstat via cmd shell and then show a map on a website (geektyper.com) claiming there hackers in his computer etc.
