Additional information about this scam: One of the disposable numbers I use got a fake alert text today. They are gearing toward a SSA script, also they sound very clueless. Talking with Eric Miller now with FCC.

Amazon does not ask for a security code. Either a transaction ID or Invoice number.
You know the very first scammer said that there will be a ‘code’ sent to my phone. I think some of them are gunning for OTPs, be safe

I used AZ-8675309 and they accepted it.
Now that you mention that, that may be the OTP too change there login password so they can access there computer anytime
