Phone is still active Dec. 8th 2:02pm CST. Guy named “Allen” answered the phone and told me not only was I charged for the phone, but I had a loan against ‘my’ name in the state of New Mexico in the amount of $4000 and the only way for him to cancel such things was for me to buy him a Amazon Giftcard (which he referred to as a “security card”) and give him the code to confirm my location. I gave him a fake code after making him sit on hold and he got very salty, and very vulgar.

Yeah, I have called Amazon scam phone numbers and have RARELY gotten the “Amazon Security Card” scam rather than the “Connect remotely to the secure Amazon server” scam. For me in the past, the “Amazon Security Card” scam turned out to be how I should get a Target Gift Card and the whole “Amazon Security Card” scam makes little sense.
