Amazing how he knew my name even after I told him that I was calling from a work phone. That really confused him.

Haha @JusticeinTexas, the stupid assumptions and/or conclusions that these criminals make.

Just now I called for the first time this toll-free number. It rang a couple of normal rings and then the call was answered because the call counter started. After the call counter started, I heard some weird and repeated type of ringing that did not sound like the “normal” American ringing AND that was ringing faster than the “normal” American ringing.

So after the counter had gone past 1 minute and 10 or 20 seconds, finally I heard a very soft female voice say hello and that weird ringing had stopped. I could barely hear her though. For about one minute I was saying that I cannot hear you and I could barely hear her now and again.

Finally she said “hello” and clearly I could hear her. Finally she was loud enough for me to hear her.

She is on call now. I am letting her go through her spiel. She said her name is Lisa Ray BUT she pronounced her fake first name as Liza. I even asked how she spells her first name and she spelled it L I S A even though she pronounced it as L I Z A.

I do not know how long I will be able to resist pouncing on her verbally. She is boring me.

It’s got to the point that most, if not all of them do Hvie!

VoIP number, DIPVTEL

“Oliver” picked up

Yes, @Jhawk! Nowadays these criminals do not seem to have enthusiasm, the HUNGER to defraud, that they used to have. She was speaking like a robot in a monotone manner. Finally I let loose on her in a most uncouth and malicious manner. She just hung up without responding.

I just spoke to Oliver yesterday, or one of the days this week.
He screamed so loudly at me that I thought he might have a stroke or massive cardiac arrest. Unfortunately he hung up finally, and I doubt that he had a stroke or heart attack unfortunately.

I have fantasized about one of these criminals getting so angry at me that he has a stroke or heart attack, and I can hear on the call a criminal colleague panicking even if the criminal colleague is speaking Hindi or Urdu or some language other than English.

They’re getting a bit fed up. They’re pretty calm about it, but they’re a bit tilted at the fact that the same numbers are constantly calling them.

EDIT: Number appears to be down.

It appears they’ve shut down the phone lines themselves. Called and all I got was “GOODBYE”
