Okay, for the first time I am calling now. A foreign woman answered as “Cancellation Department” and I said “Hello Ma’am, what is your first name?” She repeated once, “This is the Cancellation Department.”
I did not say anything further but the counter on the call continues to tick and increase. I do not hear any HOLD music. I guess she does not want to provide a FREAKING FAKE FIRST name! I was going to play along for awhile despite the fact I have no virtual machine just for the heck of it.
Now the counter is over 4 minutes, so I am hanging up this first call. I’ll try again and I’ll commence insulting immediately since some scammers seem to deem my request for a first name as troublesome.
Do they not have the phrase “good customer service” in their country and culture?
I’d like to add a McAfee number to this post, (888) 446-1275 sorry I can’t make calls now to verify but a poster on guru stated this was a fraudulent Mcafee invoice.
Thank you
