Scammer’s Number: 619-650-0388

Extra Info: Typical Amazon scam. The bot calls you and says “This is to notify you regarding your today’s purchase on Amazon dot com. You have been charged $579.99 on your bank card. If you have made this purchase on Amazon and recognize it, then simply hang up, and your order will be delivered to you. However, if you have not made any such transaction, you can call amazon support right away at 619-650-0388”.

I called them at 12:45 PM CST and got Indian/Paki scammers.

Yes, it was likely taken down due to the number of phone calls to them. Another possibility is that scammers generally don’t operate after 6 PM and they might have deactivated it themselves.

Yes, worth a try, but sometimes they just take down the number and move on. I have seen it also when I’d call the same number the following day, and it would be a whole other scam going on lol.
