Bobrtc says “Unauthorized purchase on your Amazon account.” Scammer told me to call the old age home. On another note, Google Voice suspended my account, and I had to make a new one. Do you think an algorithm did it, or do you think Google listened to the complaint of a scammer engaging in an ongoing criminal enterprise?

That's odd Joe. Some bleeping scammer no doubt made a false claim.
I hear it is as hard to get in contact with a human at Google as it is with Robinhood.com, when you think you lost $700,000. I wonder who the scammer knows on the inside? I thought Google Voice made some poorly-funded scamming operations possible.
Also, 88-year-old Robert Grinnell lives in Connecticut. Thanks to suspending the 313 area code, Google Voice allowed me to create a more-appropriate 203 area code.
