Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, “this side Tom” couldn’t tell the difference between a phone and a computer and wanted me to log into my Amazon account. I told him I forgot the password and the account was locked, and he opted to put the call on hold due to a shitty phone line.
I was then asked to “complete the verification” by checking my email, so I told him I can only access the emails on my phone and he blanked my screen with a fake software update so he can run the command prompt and refuse to “suppoat” upon discovering I was using a VM.
I will never understand why I have to repeat myself three times to make them understand. He was so offended that he said everything was being recorded and the FBI would be notified. Damn, I will have to go into hiding!
