Chances are that wasn't the correct scam. This scam can come in many formats. Emails, outbound calls, messages, etc. Call them up again and say you got a call. If not, they must know your scambaiting.
@neverbd#189582 I usually say something like, I received a message about my Amazon account… I try not to give them an opportunity to question what ‘message’ by adding something like "I’m concerned because I haven’t even ordered anything on amazon since February…
“We are unable to complete your call” automatically hangs up before I even do so
So either they blocked all calls or their provider let them change numbers
