I don’t have a lot of technical details. I called this number a few times and without much pressure, they admitted it was a scam. I reported it to the FCC and FTC but I thought that posting it here may be more effective. I hope some people are able to make better use of this than I. Cheers.
I got a human at 3/25 at 5:29 p.m. EST. He got skittish when I did not know if it was an email or a text.
It’s a text:
“Security Alert: You paid $2549.99 against LG-4Door Smart Refrigerator order id 032421T8 at AMAZON on 03-25-2021. If NOT you, Please Contact +1-833-220-3862.”
