Today my TextNow phone number received a text msg from +52 729 495 8141 and the message reads exactly as follows:
Your Order [Amaz0n] for $672.98 is on hold as we have detected suspicious activity. Please call support team on +1833-842-0810 Immedialely
So the toll-free number is +1 (833) 842-0810.
I just called +1 (833) 842-0810 and someone answered as Amazon. So at present at least this phone number seems active.
This number is active still at the moment.

I spoke to most of them too. Thanks for reporting it to Amazon. Unfortunately, they probably have a of scams to deal with in US and abroad.
I show my consumer frusration toward amazon when I call them as I know these numbers are scam telephone numbers and we get to report this shit as we live in democracy.
Your right they have bigger fish to fry and doing this doesn’t represent a lot to this reckless oversized corporation but you can ask for some compensation in which I always do , as we know it scam number.
