Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of job scam events in various Facebook groups I’m in (public and private). They mostly revolve around companies such as Walmart or Amazon, and claim that these companies have work-from-home positions. The accounts posting this are probably hacked or throwaways and most often have Indian names.
One of the most heavily spammed groups with this stuff that I’ve seen is the private group Toilets With Threatening Auras; currently, as I write this there are 12 of these listings in the “events” section of the group:
