Amazon iPhone Scam

This was involved in an email, saying that an iPhone was bought on your Amazon account. Something along the lines of “If you did not place this order, call this number.”

The number is: 1-325-270-0715.

@Meridians#143054 Horrible, horrible connection - but I was finally able to half way understand these idiots who are bumbling through without a safety net - said there was a problem with my Amazon account, and I asked him which one as I have three. Then he asked what I was doing with three accounts and I told him it was none of his business, and to let me know which one they were contacting me about. He said it was my “Prime” account, and of course all three are prime accounts. I asked again, which account. Silence. for like 20 seconds or more - I think he had a brain freeze or something. Then he said “Your Prime account” again. These guys were not a lot of fun, so I just called him out as a low life scammer with the usual parting gifts. They are working late though, gotta hand it to them for being dedicated!

The Indain scammer picked up the call at 1:30 AM EST

@drwat#143076 That’s like what, 11am in the morning over there? They sure do keep some crazy hours.

@drwat#143076 2am EST - guy said there was a fraudulent purchase on my amazon account, and I need to have his server connect to my computer"to check my computer"… OMG - Do people really fall for this stuff?

@Otis#143079 Unfortunately some do fall for this. Mostly elderly and new immigrants.

I am sure you have watched some YT videos of Jim Browning and others who expose scammers.

325-270-0715 = answered at 12:05 AM yes, AM. The guy was totally raging. His soul is doomed. But one thing he said that resonated, “you look up my number from scammer.info and then you call me”.

I guess that's an endorsement for scammer.info

@jaymee#143084 Had a 30 minute talk with the dude. Same deal. He said that India is the godfather of computers and Microsoft, calling all Americans “dumbass stupid idiots.”

Hell-- he even said that his company and other companies in India have a plan to “screw over the entire SSA and IRS systems after the pandemic ends.”

I just couldn’t stop laughing. he begged me to connect to my computer and try to destroy it from within a VM. I even asked if he knew if he could from 3 VMs within one another. Course he didn’t but he still begged. I didn’t let him and he whined.

He said he will reply to this post because of me. I wanna see his reaction. He wants to try to screw with us. Saying, “You think you’re all masterminds. Unless you stupids can use computers, you can never stop our scam. We will just change our numbers even if you tracked us already.”

Be ready for the funnies, cause this is gonna be great.

@Emeraldsniper#143088 I guess ethics are not his cup of tea.

@Emeraldsniper#143088 We should have asked what his username is here on scammer.info. I’m waiting for his reply. Unless, of course, he’s all hat and no cattle.

Yes, what you say here is pretty much what he said. He said without Indians in tech the US is nothing.

@jaymee#143175 Those persons he calls Indains in the S are in true sense Americans with Indian heritage. It is our America that brings the best in people.

@jaymee#143175 I actually tried but he just wouldn’t stop the hilarious ramble. I could try again though.

@drwat#143257 It is our America that brings the best in people.

We have extended family members by marriage with India roots. Two are successful cardiologists.

Sadly I tried calling multiple times and all to no avail for the number. Either he closed the number or switched.

@Emeraldsniper#143268 I called the number, He picked up and cuz of my indian accent started swearing at me

@indian#143270 but first he sounded american indian lol
