Amazon iphone refund scam - (346) 214-2731

Someone ordered an iPhone for $399 on your account… oh my. I queried one guy as to what account, and he said the one associated with the phone number I was calling in on. Told him that I was calling from my neighbors house, and he said he could give me my name - and to wait a moment. Several ‘moments’ later, he still had not figured out my name, so I asked him his… “Patrick Johnson” he replied in a very thick Indian accent. I said “Come on man, what’s your real name?”. And he stood by what he had already told me. I said I thought he wasn’t being completely honest, and that he had already lied to me when he said he worked for Amazon… click.

(346) 214-2731

Edit: The number above is the CID... the number to call back is:

866-443-0340

Both numbers take you to the same place.
Sorry for the confusion

I talked to Alex on November 30, 2020 around 5:30 p.m. EST. I could not get him to scam me. I will share the recording when it is ready.

Here is the brief recording:

Wow... really? He didn't say that in order to get your refund that you had to be in front of your computer so you could connect to their secure server and get your 'refund voucher' or whatever they call it? Strange. Maybe you pulled on a heart string and the guy felt bad... who knows... it could happen!

Funny bit I forgot to mention... when I asked the guy his name, he said 'My name is Patrick Sir'. I told him that was an unusual name... to which he acted kind of surprised... so I just expanded that you don't find many people who have a last name of "Sir" and I bet that gets kind of confusing at times. He then corrected me with his real fake last name. Hey, gotta play with them as much as you can, even if it's trivial stuff like a name ;)
