Amazon Scam. Apparantly, $300 was used to purchase gift cards.

@Crazycolbster#144354 Played with them a bit… but they aren’t as fun as the SSA guys. The usual $300 charge to my Amazon account, which they will gladly cancel, and then give me back a refund because the transaction has already gone through. Of course, I’m on my account at the time and don’t see any $300 charge. Everyone knows that is because the charge was made from a remote location, I believe he said it was from El Paso Texas. Hmmm, that is strange… I make purchases from all sorts of different locations and it always shows up just fine. Maybe they are looking at the wrong account… so I asked which one. They told me that it was my account, and they could tell by the phone number I was calling in on (and repeated the number). Well what do you know… that ain’t my number as I’m calling from my neighbors phone - so whoda thunk it - someone charged $300 on THEIR account as well - what are the chances of that, being next door neighbors and all.
Tried to get me on a computer... but all I had is my iPad. Once he exhausted all possibilities of getting into my computer, he just hung up without saying good by or anything, the slime bucket.
