RingCentral line, baiting with virtual machine.

They are active every day on this number for the last almost 4 years I know of

It has been listed numerous times on this site and eveywhere on the interwebbies

HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:

  • The scammers answered as AllRoundFix, LLC, an IT service provider from Boston, Massachusetts according to their BBB listing. However, their LinkedIn profile lists an employee operating from Delhi, India.
  • The scammers asked for my email address, then claimed my “order” was already cancelled. To ensure a proper bait, I faked being charged $169.99 without receiving the refund.
  • The scammers then connected my call to “Matthew from the Billing Department,” who asked for my name, Invoice ID and the last 4 digits of my card.

The scammers were previously reported for impersonating AOL and McAfee under the leadership of Chandan Seth. One of their employees created the account @depan77359 to defend themselves as a “legitimate business” and claim that we were “defaming them.”

They seem to be getting gun shy

Call 1 - As soon as I gave them the invoice number they hung up
Call 2 (same burner) - Immediate hang up
Call 3 (different burner) - Immediate hang up
Call 4 (Same burner as call 3) - Said I had an issue and he goes, “Is your invoice number 8681?” When I said yes, he hung up on me.

John 73 , I spoke to a couple of them to see how the {all around fix} will benefit the consumer, it did not and were after cc, sure sounded like scam to me.

idk why this appeared again, but guys stop reporting their post :sob: we get they’re most likely a scammer, but that’s not reason enough to take their posts down
