Falsely Claims:
“Ryan” was too invasive to provide “suppoat,” so I called back and he instead answered as “this side Michael.” I know this isn’t his real name, as his scam organization of All Round Fix, LLC was first reported to our forum on April 24, 2020 for primarily facilitating McAfee, printer and AOL “suppoat” scams.
The company, however, falsely claims to operate out of a single-family residence in Boston, Massachusetts when our team found that their operations are based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India near New Delhi.
According to the above video from 2022, showing the scammers facilitating a Norton scam, they will remotely connect to their victims’ computer via support.me, AnyDesk and TeamViewer before running the dir/s command to falsely claim it was “hacked”
I had last baited them this past September, with “Jerry” looking for OTPs and “this side Sam” being unable to remotely connect to my virtual machine with support.me. My good friend @FantasticsSnow, however, was able to complete a bait to find that they were trying to charge their victims
- $399.99 for a 2-year “basic” plan
- $499.99 for a 3-year “standard” plan
- $599.99 for a 5-year “premium” plan.
The company has also garnered several complaints on the Better Business Bureau for
- Threatening legal action against victims of their Norton scam, falsely claiming their computer had a “fatal virus.”
- Fraudulently representing their services on the behalf of Kaspersky
- Acting like McAfee representatives to defraud consumers out of $139 on top of the fees for a legitimate McAfee service, as well as impersonating their victims
Additionally, a toll-free number the scammers used was reported on 800Notes for impersonating Apple, AVG, AOL, Hewlett-Packard and TotalAV
