On January 11, 2025, the Wagle Estate Police Crime Unit raided an illegal call center and arrested their kingpin, 31-year-old Akash Ravendrasingh Yadav for posing as a pharmaceutical representative to sell controlled medications, including Viagra and Cialis, to American residents. Several gadgets and accessories, including desktop computers used to contact Americans with VoIP technology, were seized during the raid and Yadav was charged with violations of the BNS, Information Technology Act and the Indian Telegraphic Act on the grounds of cheating and impersonation.

The Indian, Pakistani and Filipino “justice” systems (if we can even call them that) are completely broken, corrupt and dysfunctional. Hence the reason why I’m advocating for drone strikes against scam and spam call centers. They should be equated to terrorists, as they cause misery, hardships, pain and suffering of millions of North American and Australian victims. At the same time, immense diplomatic and political pressure must be put on the three offending nations. We are sick and tired of their politicians’ complacency, anti-Western demagoguery and enablement of crimes under the guise of “lack of awareness” and “having other issues to deal with”. To paraphrase it, let’s turn our problem into a MAJOR problem for them.

We need to stop all foreign aid to these countries until they actually crack down on these people. The problem is that the “authorities” in these places are just as dirty as the scammer as they take kickbacks.

Agreed! Not only that, but there are also racial and ethnic undertones and tacit negative implications in these countries. Often, their corrupt and vile “leaders” are driven by racial and ethnic hatred and feel like it’s good to “stick it to Brits/Americans etc for some past alleged injustices”. We need to make it extremely costly and uncomfortable for them to behave this way. Serious sanctions and force work well to make them more accountable.
