Reporting these numbers to their carriers is effective. When numbers are taken down, all the campaigns that has that number become useless. If you would like to help, this is the template that i use when reporting reservation scams
Your customer appears to be a fraudster who is impersonating various
airlines like American Airlines. These fraudsters book tickets for
people at exorbitant prices and will often call them up later with an
excuse such as the price has changed or itinerary is unavailable to take
more money for a rebooking or confirmation. They will extort money by
scaring the victim that if they don't pay the new price then the ticket
will be cancelled without refund
Your customer is operating out of an illegal call center in India.
Some carriers like IP Horizon will say the number belongs to a reseller and forward the complaint to them. The reseller will claim that the number has been terminated without taking action and IP Horizon will believe them without checking. Such carriers must be held accountable and this community is the best to do so. You may report fraud to IP Horizon via email to [email protected]
