Called me at 6:09 PM EST on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. They were looking for an Eric Rivera (not my name). When I asked them how they got my number and for the name of their company, they hung up. Upon calling the number back, the agent on the other end claimed to be with Southwest Airlines, which they obviously aren’t. Give them hell!
I called the number, no answer. A few minutes later I received a callback, claiming to be from Prime Vacation International, offering free airline tickets if you visit their resort in FL. The call center is in Philippines, the closer is in Florida in the USA. Before I could be transferred I asked if this was a scam, and the person immediately cut me off.
Can't say for sure how the scam works.
