Agent Boost Marketing, TCPA violators DBA "Medicare Advocates" (SETTLEMENT REACHED!)

Just now, I received an Incoming call from +1 (737) 437-3170;

Usual opening script from Philippines Man “Markus” from “Las Vegas”. Claims he wants to help me save money on my non-existent bill etc… Has my absurdly clear fake details “Bombonbini Guisini” (Italian Brainrot) supposedly living in “El Paso, Texas (ZIP 88585)”, but somehow he’s not realising. I’ve had this new VoIP number registered on the DNC since April 17th 2025, also a (737) area code; LOCAL.

Currently, he’s struggling to connect me to a licensed agent. He said he’ll call me back from the same number - that connects to different opening script agents though - the dude has been trying for several minutes. I’ll update with more info when I can connect with one, if I’m lucky enough to get ahold of one…

CALL-BACK: +1 (737) 352-6398
ALMOST IMMEDIATELY

“Ashley” - Part of Health Advisors. Same opening script. Claims to also be from Las Vegas, Nevada. Also questionning me on my age, benefits I supposedly have to “double check” etc. She can’t seem to connect me to a rep either currently.

How stupid are these idiots?

CALL-BACK: +1 (737) 321-8084 Add this to the list!

“Lori” - Part of Health Advisors. Same opening script. Claims to also be from Las Vegas, Nevada. Also questionning me on my age, benefits I supposedly have to “double check” etc. She can’t seem to connect me to a rep either currently.

How stupid are these idiots? I had to hang up on “Ashley” to answer this… I simply asked “Ashley” to also call me back when she can get a rep on the line…

LORI GOT AN AGENT FOR ME! Lady sounded American. But I lost her in seconds, she’s no longer audible; didn’t hear a call disconnect sound tho…

They answer and hang up on me fast, literally after I say “hello”. Or maybe their lines are so shitty that they can’t handle calls lol. See if you can find out what US lead generator is behind this whole scheme? Filipino “Medicare Advisors” have been harassing me since 2018. Obnoxious retards!

4 polubienia

Working on it. Want to hop on a conference call with me mate?

4 polubienia

Sorry, mate, can’t now. Got an appointment in 10 minutes coming up. I was trying to give them a quick call but they are hanging up all the time.

UPDATE: US Lead Generator Company behind this is supposedly Medicare Advocates - www.medicareadvocates.com
AGENT NUMBER: 21323059
AGENT NAME: AMANDA VALENTINE
Texas based

Nice! I will get back to you after I do some research on them later today and provide recommended language for sending a legal demand to these people.

2 polubienia

I can’t seem to find AMANDA in the search records, perhaps I’m looking in the wrong place? Can you tell me exactly where to look up the AGENT NUMBER? NPN I’ve even tried the full name she gave me of who she - at least - claims to be.

I haven’t told her I can’t find her. I’ve asked a-lot and don’t want to raise any further suspicions that I’m simply digging and baiting… I’m leaving myself on mute, pretending I’m looking for my id card / number in the meanwhile, I’m gonna see how long before she drops the call.

Perhaps, later, I’ll try it with a different agent and see if I can actually track them down.

edit: after about 12 minutes since I connected with her, she finally dropped the call

@MehNamesJeff: As always, @OfclyGoodenough did a tremendous, outstanding research! I do not have much to add. They are indeed located at 10421 S Jordan Gateway, Suite 100, South Jordan, Utah 84095.

Given that they are in Utah, I would recommend making complaints to the State of UT Insurance Division here: https://insurance.utah.gov/complaints/#complaint-portal

Also, given that the behavior of invasive lead generators might potentially impact State of UT Medicaid Program, it will be beneficial to file the complaint here, as well: Report Fraud | Utah Office of Inspector General

Here is the outlet # 3: Email: [email protected]

If I were in your position, I would be inclined to use the following letter template:

Subject: Formal Complaint: Potential Illegal Telemarketing and Possible Fraud by Agent Boost Marketing / Medicare Advocates

Dear State of Utah Representatives,

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Agent Boost Marketing, operating under the trade names Medicare Advocates and Health Plans Advocates, for potentially engaging in illegal telemarketing practices and potential fraudulent activities related to Medicare enrollment.

Summary of Complaint

Since [insert approximate date], I have received multiple unsolicited telemarketing calls from Agent Boost Marketing. These calls are:

  • Made without my prior express written consent, violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
  • Possible use of spoofed numbers or robocalls, making it difficult to identify the caller’s true identity.
  • Frequently deceptive in nature, potentially falsely implying government affiliation or endorsement.
  • Potentially part of a coordinated effort to defraud individuals of their Medicare benefits.

Despite being listed on the National Do Not Call Registry, I was harassed by their phone calls indicating a possible violation of telemarketing laws and a potential disregard for consumer privacy.

Company Information

  • Company Name: Agent Boost Marketing
  • DBA: Medicare Advocates, Health Plans Advocates
  • Website: https://medicareadvocates.com
  • Contact Information:
    • Phone: (855) 378-1451
    • Email: Email Business
    • Address: Lehi, Utah
  • Business Profile: Better Business Bureau

Evidence of Violations

  1. Telemarketing Practices:
  • Privacy Policy: The company’s privacy policy indicates that by signing a form, individuals provide express consent to receive marketing communications via various channels, including automated telephone dialing systems, even if they are on state or federal Do Not Call registries. I have NOT provided such consent. Therefore, their business practices might violate the TCPA’s requirements for prior express written consent.
  1. Potential Fraudulent Activities:
  • Contracting Kit: The company’s contracting kit outlines that agents are paid full Medicare commissions directly by Agent Boost Marketing. It also states that if an agent is terminated for cause from any of the insurance agent carriers’ contracts, Agent Boost Marketing reserves the right to terminate the agent’s other contracts and remove them from the Medicare Advocates opportunity. It appears that some of their agents and/or lead generators might be potentially impersonating Medicare staff, answering as “Medicare advisors”.

Request for Action

I respectfully urge the State authorities to:

  1. Investigate the telemarketing practices of Agent Boost Marketing to determine compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Examine the company’s business practices for potential fraudulent activities related to Medicare enrollment and Medicaid.
  3. Take appropriate enforcement action to protect other consumers from potential harm.

Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise if any further documentation is required on my part.

Sincerely,

Your Name
Your Email or Other Pertinent Contact Information

I haven’t asked to be taken off their “list” - yet! Whilst I was doing my investigative work…

I’ll make some TINY edits.

I’m also going to email agent boost directly and fuck them.

5 polubień

Of course! I just did a preliminary generic template that might be utilized. I definitely encourage you to make proper changes. My template is for general information purposes only

@scamterminator2021 I have made only some small edits, really detailed their actions regarding what I’ve encountered so far personally to make it sound as big as possible, or whatever, added the fact it violates the TSR (Telemarketing Sales Rules) and incorporated some research from @OfclyGoodenough

Let me know what you guys think.
