AG Marketing, LLC, "unclaimed gift card" scammers from El Salvador

Carrier: NumHub
Dialer Used: ViciDial
Call Center Location: Overseas, Falsely claims to operate from Tampa, Florida.
Answers as: “Rewards Redemption Center”

The scammers sent a fraudulent postcard to my grandmother, urging her to call their NumHub line due to an “unclaimed reward.” After I provided the claims number and verifying the address, I “qualified” for a $100 gift card but was asked to pay $2.49 in shipping and activation fees with my checking account.

  • I told the scammer that I can only provide my account details on a secure web portal, but she insisted the call be transferred to a “secured verification line.” I responded by asking if I can write a check, but she decided to hang up.

Since she refused to “suppoat,” I decided to perform a series of Google searches related to the postcard and found that the scam was likely facilitated by Savers Club, LLC, a fraudulent “buying club” listed on the Better Business Bureau as operating out of 28870 US Highway 19 North Clearwater, FL 33761 and on their website as operating out of an AMBI Mail and Marketing in Casper, Wyoming.

User complaints on their Facebook account and BBB listing indicates patterns of fraudulent activity, such as:

  • Drafting $41.27/month without prior authorization from their customers.
    image
  • Forging checks and refusing to transfer callers to their accounting department.
  • Operating under multiple business identities and falsely claiming their customers can cancel during their “trial period.”

Through my continued traceback efforts, I was able to identify their parent company as AG Marketing, LLC, a fraudulent advertisement/BPO service actively hiring cold callers from El Salvador via LinkedIn and retention/sales agents via a Google form.

The company is also confirmed to operate as

The scammers sent a fraudulent “final notice” postcard falsely claiming we had an “un-claimed $100” reward that was “good at Walmart, Target and more.” However, unlike prior letters we’ve received, this one lists a Lakeland, Florida UPS Store as a mailing address alongside their website membersgain.com, which had a live chat feature that I used in order to send their “customer support” agent a Grabify link to youareanidiot.cc, which they sadly refused to click.

In order to receive my “rewards,” I need to sign up for several monthly subscriptions, including:

Through my traceback efforts, I was able to discover that the scammers also operate as “Prime Perks”

seems like all of the triplelink numbers are down but the invoca number works: * (888) 919-2851

It put me through to the “Identity Response Center” for Privacy Max where various male & female fufurufas answer the phone. However I did speak to 2 separate Americans. Jessica, who picked up directly when I called, and another gentleman named Johnathan who claimed he was in New Jersey & whom was definitely American. Followed by an older lady, (probably a manager or supervisor named Lori) who didn’t like my line of questioning.

UPDATE: It appears one of the numbers these scammers use was recently used to call my cell phone, which is on the do-not-call registry, on behalf of the “Police Officers’ Association PAC”

Some of the scammers are even answering by saying “the number you have dialed is no longer in service.”

Can’t that be reported to USPIS or is that a pointless endeavor? Someone paid for that to travel through the mail, most likely using a bulk business center that took it in. USPIS is supposed to investigate fraud.

866 582 4122 gave bethanny my reward no and everything was going good then she became unhappy about reward I had offered her and what direction it was offered Y

You needed to explain to her that she doesn’t have to redeem the full reward all at once. She can savor several small amounts at her convenience.
