Enrollment time brings out the worst in unethical behavior. This particular brokerage/insurance group calls people and lies about being your own insurance company. They will say you failed to pay an annual premium and that you need to pay 300 dollar today, then they sign you up for a new plan without even telling you.

So basically, you can tell them you received a text and the text said your health coverage will be dropped on name of insurace. ANY insurance would probably ork, I used BCBS for this call.

They are texting people to scare them into signing up for their shitty insurance, they lie and pretend to be an actual representative of AETNA, BCBS, any other legit insurance. Then they sign you up and “walk you” through the process.
MOST IMPORTANTLY they ask for this ‘fee’ so your coverage doesn’t lapse. @Tillianne
I can’t pin-point them, you are right they are probably NOT brokers. As much as I dislike what brokers do, they usually tell you they are brokers.
This woman straight up lied to me and said she works for Blue Cross and she found my ‘policy’ right away. Also that I failed to pay a ‘re-instatement’ fee to Blue Cross. @Tillianne

“Health Enrolment Center”
I also have a load of active as well as many inactive numbers for a company the BBB has a warning for but then notes they are no longer in business going by a similar name variants
It seems there are plenty of very shady variants with a very small internet footprint
Some of these numbers are still active if it helps with the jigsaw puzzle
