I called 855-541-4140. I was on the line for around 30 minutes, I acted as if I were super scared and worried about the viruses and asked the guy I was on the phone with to do a scan. He ran MVR or something similar, I think it’s called Microsoft Virus Removal tool. I never even knew that existed. I later opened up the wikipedia page for tech support scam and listed off the things that he did and I said that I didn’t trust him. Later firertc was being weird and laggy (probably because of the vm) so I decided to end the call, call him a scammer in the vm, then shut down the VM. Pretty sure this one might have known I was scambaiting after I opened the wikipedia page “If you know each and everything, why do you call us?!”, was what they told me multiple times! Totally recommend calling that number and wasting their time.
