That was weird. After letting them connect to my VM for less than 5 seconds, he rebooted my PC, and told me everything was fine, the problem was solved. When I asked why he did that (meaning, why not scam me), he said “that is my responsability to help our customers”. And then hung up.
Either a scammer with a guilty conscience or they uncovered my VM in mere seconds?

You need to be able to say where you saw that popup or what you where doing. If you cant provide that info and try something generic like googling or surfing, then they seem to know you are baiting them, and they just tell you to reboot or hang up.
Our bot isnt telling where these popups, well, pop up. It may not even know :/

I think these popups appear on porn sites. I got through by pretending my son left me the computer with that message on it, so I didnt know what he was doing before. Scammer was kind enough to tell me: porn sites.
