Additional information about this scam: I just got a call from Adam from The Geek Squad, who said that since I had purchased the services from them last year (I didn’t) he was giving me a free check up call to inquire about my computer and other devices.
I was able to call back to confirm that the number was not spoofed. Adam’s favorite color is white, but he says that this is a professional call and so he cannot sing the Geek Squad Song.
