This number has been active for quite some time, posing as “eBay customer service”, connected to dozens of Craigslist scams. This number continues to work, and is not changed, unlike most scams.
It will ring roughly 6 times before the scammer answers. They are expecting calls in response to an email from “eBay” requesting payment for (typically a car), in either eBay, Walmart, Best Buy, or Vanilla Prepaid gift cards. Several of them, $200 each.
He goes by the name “Michael Owens”. Upon wasting hours of my time, he blocked my number, and repeatedly used the insult “Fuck your mother-face”.
This guy is a scumbag. Give him hell. Tell him to “fuck your mother-face” so he knows I sent you - lol
PS: if he asks for your “ID number”, give him ” 121345975483027901”, the “seller” is Brianna Lock, and the “buyer” is Luke Michaelson.
