Yup this surfaced to me today. but what tipped me off was that he said to contact a steam admin in discord which is highly suspicious.
These scammers always use Discord
Just got a similar scam from a different user. New account made via the web app (Reported it obviously), they’ve changed the username of the steam account. but are still using the original email, which is how I found this.
